Approval Testing for Special Waste

Heritage will provide RCRA TCLP testing services and all of the materials needed to allow your company to send a sample to our lab. You will receive bottles with preservative, chain of custody, and a return shipping kit along with a prepaid return shipping label. See below for more information about TCLP testing.

Please be sure to check with your disposal outlet to confirm their testing requirements. When submitting your order, please provide the common name of your waste material and the State of the disposal outlet by entering them in the comment section at checkout.

To place your order, click one of the Primary Test Groups in the left hand column of the table below and then add one or more of the Optional Test Groups from the right hand column.

Call or email Heritage Laboratories if you have special testing requirements, need expedited turnaround, have a large number of samples, or if one of the testing groups below does not meet your needs. If your company will be submitting samples on a regular basis, please call to set up an account. Additional charges may apply for expedited service and multi-phasic samples, contact the lab to discuss.

What exactly is a TCLP test?

The TCLP, or toxicity characteristic leaching procedure, is designed to determine the mobility of both organic and inorganic analytes present in solid, liquid and multiphasic samples. This testing is usually used to determine if a waste is characteristically hazardous under waste codes D004-D043.
