How does the mailback program works in a "nutshell"?

Log-In or Create a user account, choose the items and quantities needed from the Products List, pay via credit card and place your order.  Your LifeCycle kit will be mailed within 3-7 business days via Ground service.  It is important the original shipping box is retained, as it is used for returning the full kit to Heritage.  All kits (except for DEA) will have a Return Shipping Label inside the kit, please do not lose this label, as it is needed for returning the full kit to Heritage.

Who is a good fit for the Heritage Pharmaceutical Mailback program?

  • Dental & Doctor offices
  • Pharmacies
  • Universities
  • Research Centers
  • Residences are not permitted to utilize this program.

Is the Pharmaceutical mail back program available in every state?

No. Certain states do not recognize this federal exemption. Therefore, Heritage’s mail back program of CESQG wastes is restricted based on the state of origin. Additionally, the DOT exemptions through Heritage’s program are only eligible using ground transport.


Does Heritage LifeCycle provide a certificate of proper management?

Yes. Once the Heritage LifeCycle items are returned a certificate of proper management will be electronically sent to the customer’s email address used to place the order


What size and types of batteries can be placed in the Lithium battery bucket?

Size requirements are smaller than a lap top battery (approximately 8 inches long by 2 inches wide). Types of lithium batteries excluded from the program are lithium ion and high energy.


What size and type of batteries can be placed in the dry cell battery bucket?

Types of dry cell batteries accepted are: AA, C, D and 9 volts (or less) and lantern types such as:

  • Alkaline
  • Nickel cadmium (NiCd)
  • nickel metal hydride (NiHD)
  • silver oxide
  • mercury

When shipping batteries, do the terminals need to be protected?

Yes, safe packaging guidelines indicate that the battery terminals need to be protected from other batteries within the bucket during shipment.
